Get the inside scoop on creating natural perfumes at this hands-on two-day intensive workshop.
Learn the art of formulating with natural essences and discover best practices to utilize when blending. We’ll discuss perfume structures, plant origins, and the historical context of materials. Students will learn by blending and re-blending formulas while increasing olfactory recognition. Through group critique we will discuss where a blend is successfully achieving the student’s intentions and where adjustments can be made to the formula.
The class will be taught by Jessica Hannah, 2015 recipient of an Art and Olfaction Award in the Independent category for Skive, a natural perfume created for Austin-based leather company Canoe.
Join us for an enjoyable two-day affair! Feb 20th-21st 9-5pm.
